Hourly rates are determined on a case by case basis which includes matters requiring a short turnaround e.g. documented legal advice, additional time on a fixed rate fee; or for engagements that will require an extended period of time to complete. This includes engagement/negotiations with 3rd parties, complex transactional matters, etc. This is by no means an exhaustive list. Hourly rates are payable either by (i) Deposit and balance paid at the end of the matter; or (ii) Deposit and Monthly payments. Deposits are paid upfront.

Your Engagement Letter will be with Richard Nelson LLP, the regulated entity with which Legal Distinction is a Consultant. Richard Nelson LLP is regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and we are covered under its professional indemnity insurance up to £5 million.
